would be pretty cool, though as someone mentioned earlier, it would have to be a nexus device that did it. though of course, that might hamper the sales of chromebooks
I think they could do something that linked the chromebooks and chrome on phones together. Sort of how hp is doing that with their touchpad and their phones.

I can't imagine it would be to hard to have Android as the phone OS and then have ChromeOS as the dock's OS. Right?
Chrome OS may require specs that aren't on the phones yet though. But i don't see why you can't just replace Firefox with Chrome Browser.

And it wasn't downgraded, remember the Etna (old Bionic) was a different phone. For Targa, the biggest battery that can fit in the industrial design was choosen.
And please, for the love of everything stop with the stupid display comments. Seriously, it is beyond old. Especially since I know what the issues are and that over half the people complaining can't see them. Under a microscope is BS (what, do you carry a microscope in your back pocket). It is just amazing what you can see if you know what to look for and look really hard. It is like TV and the 120MHz displays, and now 240MHz displays. 60MHz was more than good enough for most people, until they were convinced it wasn't.
On the processors, can't we just leave it that the part is OMAP4? Manufacturers always bin parts, it is part of the normal manufacturing process. Explaining what it does and how it works is a really long email. Do some Google searches and learn if you care that much, there is a lot written because hackers wanted to understand it so they could figure out how how they could overclock their PCs.
Just wait, I expect to see some leaks pretty soon from the Verizon testers. There always is. "

Good to see hopefully some more leaks soon maybe a hands to get a look at it in action.
I can understand the whole pentile frustration, but for those of us who can see it, it might be irritating. Im waiting for the bionic, and worst case scenario I have 14 days if it bothers me that much. But I also agree some people just cant be satisfied and that there is going to be people who will gripe and complain about it. When you know what to look for, it's easy to whine. I just happen to have sharp eyes and a particular sense of attention to detail thanks to my old job. It would be awesome if they could just jam some more pixels on the screen.

Now I highly doubt the screen will be worse than my DX and I like my DX's screen, so all this complaining is moot to me. Some people will rather have a slower proc and go with the charge, others will sacrifice LTE and get a GS2. I personally will check the screen for myself when it is released, but at this point I do not think that the screen will be bad enough to give up either of the other two.
Wont be worse its actually better in some ways. Its much brighter in my opinion. Only problem I have with the Dx2's screen is when reading and unfortunately that's what I mostly do on my phone. That's why a screen that meets MY needs and looks good is essential and the DX2's just doesn't cut the mustard.

I'm so glad Winston made that post. Sometime people on these forums can be so irritating. Everyone talks about how iPhone users are just sheep following whatever Steve Jobs tells them, but look at these forums. One person complains about the battery being 1735mAh and a whole herd of people follow, having no idea whatsoever what the battery life will be like. One person complains about pentile and a whole herd of people start bashing bionic's screen having never seen it. makes me wonder who the sheep really are.
So true like idk why everyone who uses android bashes android. Like atleast bash another is not the one you use i meam people ***** about everything just like the new blur everyone says it sucks yet only those who got a Droid 3 would know. And nobody knows for sure if it will have the same blur although most likely it will.
Yea, about the d3 screen. I'll concede that maybe its not as bright or crisp as samsung screens, but seeing people post 20+ hours off charger and the display at 10% or less has impressed me. And that they say the screen almost glows under the sun...I work outside in the desert, so big bonus for me if I can see it outside, lol.

I think some people hate just because they don't/can't have something so they try and talk it down and sadly some people listen to them. For me if the phone fits my needs that's what matters not what some Joe schmo on the internet said about it.

omg love the tags lynch mob mind numbing pain that's crazy. do u think the reason MOTO didn't send out review units on d3 was because the screen issues. and is possible MOTO could scrap. the bionic again for a screen upgrade? should just use the x screen

I say release the Bionic, It will have a chance for upgrades with the Bionic 2. The screen is more than adequate, put this thing in my hands August 4th or I am buying an IPHONE!!!... OMG I can't believe I said that, I don't mean it. ***waits to get banned***
