The point was, why extend it? And why extend it to this particular date? It had already expired or was getting close to expiring. So there must be some reason to extend and to extend to this particular date. They don't just blindly give away service for no reason.
I prefer the look of the Photon, too, although I don't think the Bionic looks bad. It's cool. Everything will come down to specs, feel in the hand, and costs for the different carriers for me. It surely seems like the Photon isn't lacking anything the Bionic has. They do have different processors though, right? Nvidia versus OMAP? I suppose looking for any difference in responsiveness will play a role then, too.
While i don't care for the form factor of the supposed leaked Bionic, i don't really dislike it either. For me it's way to close to the OG Droid series, almost an exact copy without the keyboard of course. No other leaked pictures coming out or info makes have doubts that was even the form factor of the Bionic. One thing that has always troubled me was in one of the screenshots was under name or something like that it said "Droid Bionic" and it was my understanding it should have been "XT875", like the Bionic at CES had "XT865" under device name. Whatever the outcome this will be my next phone barring a huge problem with it, although I will probably get it Day 1.

I'm almost positive it's because of the Hotspot app forceclosing on the devices. I have the Charge and it stopped working in May. They are giving us extra time because of the bug.

Funny, now that I see those pictures, I like it all over again. One really stupid thing I love is the new eye and the background screen. Yeah, that's it. I'll make my decision based on the inclusion of the Droid eye and the coolest screen background. I've gotta plan now.

I had a Charge and brought it back. 11 hours of battery time is correct if you don't use it. I know why they call it Charge, because that's what you're going to be doing all day long. Your X's battery life DESTROYS the Charge. Obviously the LTE makes difference, but the Charge sure didn't keep one.You added 2 things there (there is a comma between them) Fathers Day Ad (comma) Promos
I was referring to stuff like the Amazon offering a little while back. Father's Day was just an Ad saying - hey this device has up to 11 hours of battery time and is 4G -- Buy now... you know you want too.. hit the Shiney Red Button!!!!!

its clearly there. And even if they arent for phones right now, i dont see a reason why they wouldnt use those same #s for the phone plan.
Those numbers are insane, talk about unsustainable from a business perspective... I've already used 3.7 gigs in 2 weeks with my Charge, and I haven't done that much streaming or any big downloads or tethering. A little youtube hd, some pandora, but mostly just browsing the internet, doing email, downloading apps, and various social media apps. Its true what people say about LTE using more data, I thought I was being pretty conservative but I've already used a TON of data.
All I can say is I'm VERY happy that I already purchased a Charge and locked myself in to this unlimited, there's no way I could afford to pay $50 on top of my plan to still run out of data after 3 weeks...

Holy freakin' crap! If prices are anything like that, Sprint is a no-brainer for me. That will thin the phone choice herd for me. And that 4g pricing must include the 3g, too, right? That couldn't possibly be in addition to, could it? Even if the prices are wrong, if they only allow a minimum of 5 gigs for 4g as an excuse for whatever pricing they do use, I'm outta there, unless it costs the same as a data plan does now. I just don't use that much.
