T-Mobile Galaxy S8 Bixby doesn't know I have Google Maps

Previously, Bixby seemed to be unable to interact with Google Maps, despite Maps being an app in Bixby labs. After the most recent Bixby update it started working, but as of yesterday I'm experiencing a very bizarre issue. Whenever I attempt to do anything involving Maps (including saying "open Google Maps") Bixby tells me that I first need to download Maps. I've tried several things including turning labs off and back on, enabling all permissions for Maps, uninstalling all updates to Maps and re-installing them, and of course restarting my phone. So far, no luck getting Maps to work with Bixby.

Anyone else experiencing this?

no problem using Bixby with Google maps here. even just used it today to find a place

Update to the release version fixed it!

When I tell Bixby to navigate me somewhere it's starts me in walking mode instead of driving mode.

Have you tried saying "navigate to X by car?"
