Bixby voice finally here!

Not available in the UK! Don't have a clue when it will be either. If anyone could give me any indication of when it will be ( to the nearest year) I would be grateful.

It's the small things that sell me on Bixby over GA. I can unlock my phone with my voice and a password without using the FPS or anything else.

I don't have to pull down the notification shade to do any action, just use my voice.

Editing photos becomes a breeze with Bixby.

That is a nice thing to have, especially with the awkward FP sensor placement.

No it would allow me to sign up for it.
I must tried clearing a the Bixby Apps data files and restarting and still no dice.
I guess it's coming to Canada later.
Since we are sooooo different than the U.S., Samsung will take anotherb2 months to program the "Eh?" And "Sorry" commands.

I like Bixby but it feels too slow for me. I would give it a command and I can do everything it did in a much shorter time period. Maybe this will be ironed out in updates.

Agree. I think this is part of the reason it took 3 months to launch after the phone was launched.

Both of those statements are subjective and different for each user.

I use Google assistant everyday and have yet to find anything Bixby can do useful.

Ask it to call an Uber to where ever location you want.

I would rather just get in my car and go to whatever location I want while using Android Auto to navigate for me.

Never used Uber, Lyft or any other ride service and have no plans on ever doing so.

What all are you doing? Im thinking of selling my S8 bc of bixby but if I can make something out of her maybe I'll not sell.

You really need to read up on Bixby and learn ALL the commands it can do. There are actually more commands that it can do that Google Assistant cannot. You might not find it useful yet because you're used to doing everything manually. Bixby is still in it's early stage but will improve after everyone uses it.

You really gotta start researching before you post stuff. Google does interact with those services. Never heard of ifttt?

I just asked Google Assistant to "upload most recent picture to instagram". It pulled up search results...

Try that with Bixby and it will do that for you, even type in the caption as well

Again, Bixby has done nothing useful for me. I dont stalk people on Facebook, dont need approval on my pictures through instagram and would never hire Uber.
