[Blind item] Next Nexus will be Motorola

I can see it now: Super AMOLED 2 tech with quadcore 4.5 inch motorola Nexus running ice cream with 1080p 3d recording and playback and a 8mp camera. Maybe the first keyboard nexus?

I've heard the rumors about Nexus 2 by Motorola a while ago , even
before the Nexus S came out , but i think Google went with Samsung because it was cheaper for them (No R&D cost) , its just anther variant of the Galaxy S (with small differences here & there) more like the I9000 , Epic , Vibrant ...
it even have the same S

if the next Nexus is built by Motorola , I don't think it will have the docking features like the Atrix , since that will require Motorola to put some extra stuff which will be the opposite of Pure Google phone (not just a MOTO phone portal like the Droid\MileStone)

Honestly , I don't like the looks of a Vanilla\Stock Android & I prefer a custom UI on top of it (MotoBlur or Sense) even though i'll end up using a custom launcher

at the end , every one have his own taste\opinion & that is just mine

Moto got the Xoom (which is like the Nexus of tablets.) I said this in another post but I can see the next Nexus branded device being a tablet.

Here are the specs I HOPE for:
  • LG or Motorola
  • Quad-Core
  • Not Ice Cream, whatever the "J" is "Juicebox" maybe??? ;P
  • December or January release
  • Dual bands 4G (AT&T & T-Mobile) (Sprint & Verizon)
  • Records 1080p 3D
  • HDMI
  • 3D (I know it's gimmicky but would be nice)
  • Good Res. Screen
  • 12MP Camera w/ dual flash
  • Front camera 2-5mp
  • NFC
  • 4 - 4.3in screen
  • Bigger changes in Android (Like Honeycomb but still similar to what we have now)
  • Named the Nexus X
  • New technology (Kind of like NFC)
  • Computer dock
  • Cool Design

If it's Motorola...

I'm thinking the Targa leak would be a good candidate. The rumored quad-core processor with a large MP rear camera would be nice. As for the front-facing camera, I think 1.3 MP is the sweet spot. The "HD" 2.0 MP cameras used for video conferencing on laptops and home computers now are oftentimes choppy presumably from the bandwidth required. Your problem would go up exponentially the higher the resolution. 3D? Sure, why not? HDMI? Sign me up! I don't care what version of the OS it has so long as it's optimized to take advantage of the quad-core processor. But, as we have yet to see a version of the OS optimized for DUAL-CORE on our phones, this might be pushing it. While I'd love to see a 4" phone (put away your pitchforks), it looks like 4.3" is the standard. A laptop dock would be awesome. As for the name? Well, as a Verizon customer still clinging to my OG MOTOROLA Droid, I'm hoping for a Motorola device. Droid Nexus maybe? YMMV,

Bryan

It would be nice if they made it dual mode. However, if they pick one, it's gonna be GSM. Sorry Verizon and Sprint users (which includes myself)...
