Bluetooth connectivity

I've gone from the Note 20 ultra to the Flip. One thing that I've noticed is that the Bluetooth connection seems poor in comparison to the N20U. My watch(frontier 3)disconnects from the Flip of I move away 10-12 metres. The N20U would remain connected up to 30m away. Same condition, at home and filling bird feeder. Anyone else notice this?
I'm toying with the idea to leave the flip open for comparison.

No issues whatsoever. I can have the Samsung Buds 2 in and I can still get connection upstairs downstairs...seriously.
