Bluetooth keeps disconnecting

I've have this phone for almost 4 months and now I'm having an issue where my Bluetooth headset will disconnect and then I'm not able to turn the Bluetooth back on from the phone until I restart the device. Is there a simple way to fix this or am I going to have to do the dreaded factory reset ?

How often does it happen? If it's common, try Safe Mode -- if the problem goes away in Safe Mode, then something you installed is probably interfering.

It just started happening day before yesterday. I was listening to music then it all of a sudden disconnected. When I tried to turn the Bluetooth on from the pull down menu it wouldn't turn on until I restarted. Same thing yesterday morning, but only I didn't restart the phone after trying to turn it back on. I left it alone for a few hours and now it's back to normal and turning on. How do I go into safe mode? just in case it happens today I'll check your suggestion.

Well I thought I got rid of the app that was causing the problem with my Bluetooth, but the issue came back. I'm not looking forward to this factory reset
