I want to develope a media player for android with the bluetooth avrcp feature support, so that playing commands can be sent from another bluetooth enabled cell phone. When I pair such a phone to my laptop via bluetooth, several services are displayed such as: object push, desktop control, mouse and media player, that is my aim to have the media player service when it is connected to android mobile. But the only available service it displays after pairing is the object push. What is wrong? Is avrcp the correct profile to work with? How to enable it? And how to access the controlling commands in my application? If not, then what is the alternative? My phone type is nexus one with rooted android2.2.1 stock rom.
