For the past few weeks, my Moto Z Droid (XT1650) no longer discovers any bluetooth devices, nor offers the option to pair. The bluetooth is on, but seems to be blind. I have gone through the following to try to resolve the issue, but no luck so far.
None of these steps have resolved the issue. The device has not had anything traumatic happen to it (dropped, moisture, etc.) that I know of that would have caused it, and everything else seems to work just fine.
- Made sure the bluetooth was on, and that both devices were in pairing/detect mode.
- Rebooted in safe mode, and tried it there.
- Was not given the available option to force stop or clear cache in the setup --> app menu
- Removed any apps that I thought might be interfering
- Checked if desired devices were able to pair (verified by connecting to other devices with no issue)
- Full factory reset before trying it again
