Bluetooth skipping or cutting out

I've been having an issue with my bionic when playing music through bluetooth. it will randomly skip or cut out for about a half a second, several times each song. very annoying. I use multiple bluetooth devices, but mostly the radio in my truck and a pair of jaybird freedoms.

I've previously had a bb storm and a D2, and never had this issue.

any thoughts or fixes?
