Blurry Contacts?

I assign a new picture to a contact and it saves as normal. Then when I view the Quick Contact widget, the pic is blurred and has lower resolution. Their caller ID pic is also blurry and low res.

This might be an issue with Gingerbread since that's when it first started happening. (Since the leaks)
The contacts that were saved with pics before updating to GB is still crisp and clear.
All photos ARE high res. How do I fix this? Anyone else come across this issue?

Same here. Mine have always been this way. Even with my Evo 4G. There has to be a way to fix this. I hate having one of the best phones on the market with crappy contact photos.

This never happened when I was on Froyo. As soon as I load up Gingerbread...new contact pics look like crap. I'm hoping its a glitch and gets worked out or someone finds a fix.

Same thing here. I don't have a lot of contacts with pictures, but the pictures I do have were crystal clear on Froyo and pretty crappy on GB.

I use fullscreen caller id and I add my contacts images from that app and all images are clear both ways... Have you tried to change the image since update and see if the images are better.

I think that SyncMyPix will increase the resolution of contact pictures.

Well said.. I cant stand the thought of having to use a 3rd party app for something that the phone already does and once did better before an update.

I have the same problem on mine after the GB update.... LOTS of bugs in GB!

You can keep waiting, or you can use a third party app and be done with it.
