Bookmarks lost in chrome after factory reset & chrome update

Not a technical person so need basic restore help.
Factory reset Lg optimus due to function issue.
Completed chrome update and now all bookmarks are gone..
All contacts were duplicated manually removed
Turned sync off.
Please help get my is back

Welcome to the forums. A factory reset removes all user data. If the bookmarks weren't backed up to a cloud account then they're most likely gone. Sorry.
