Boot animations

I got tired of just one boot animation looping until phone boots, so I decided to put combinations of boot animations together.
You still will have one of the combo that loops until boot up, but the whole boot animation will be way better to look at.
These will be optimized by me for our V (every image resized to 320x480 and the frame rate at 12 frames per second).
I will post one a week and will do requests of combinations.
I can do any combo weather one is one size and the other is another makes no never mind.
Can do 2-4 animation combos (little from one, little from another, etc.).

Here is the combo boot animation for:

I still have the big machine in storage till my housing situation improves. Just have a 512MB-20GB old IBM Think Pad for now.
I like to help, but this and unbricking phones is all It will allow me to do right now.
I have a cool three bootanimation combo for next Sunday I'm currently working on.
Resizing the images goes pretty quick, but it's the renaming of all images following whatever I decide to put in the part0 folder that takes so long. If I run it and see I need to delete a few images, then everything following has to be renamed all over again. That's why I decided to just do one a week.

Wow Andy!!!, nice job, i just downloaded Tron_ics, i didn't install it yet, but the wife and i previewed it and man it's awesome! This is gonna be so nice when you reboot, just had this rom for about a week and rebooted so many times that i'm already sick of that boot animation.

I'm already gettin some ideas together for a request.

Thanks for doin this

You da man, i'm glad you posted this earlier than last Sunday (curiosity killed the cat), gives me something to look forward to, and of coarse you did not disappoint!!!

Once again, nice job Andy, and thank you ;) I made a folder on my SD card for these.

EDIT : I'm still using CyanMobile X, which is working great (knock on wood) , but it still has the Virgin Mobile splash screen at the start of bootup, then your bootanimation plays. Is there any way to delete the Virgin splash screen? I did some searching, but couldn't find a way to delete it, any ideas? Thanks

I'll check into it.

On second thought, don't worry about it. After further research, it's way to much trouble and the people that did manage to delete the splash screen were left with a black screen before the added bootanimation.zip! Thanks anyway, that screen doesn't bother me. :)

Sorry about the delay in putting up another boot animation combo. Got rid of Windows XP (no more support which means it's going to be a virus hackers paradise). I've been trying to find a Linux Distro that is compatible with a single core Pentium4 and just 512MB of RAM.
Finally hit pay dirt with Bohdi Linux. Used the nonpae version. Very low RAM requirements. It's quite simply amazing.
I can multitask like I have 4GB of RAM with a dual core processor. Browser is faster than anything for Windows. It allows me to use VLC to play video's and cd's flawlessly.
Now I just have to find some utilities that will allow me to continue to cobble together the boot animations.
Sorry again for the delay.

No problem Andy, take your time. Heck, i'm really happy with what you've done so far! All these years, don't know why?, i've never thought to change the bootanimation, now, it's addicting.

Thank you for your work! :)

Getting closer.
Installed WINE then installed "Faststone Photo Resizer" (this is what I was using with Windows XP).
Batch resize of all images in a part folder (might be as many as 170+) takes less than 3 minutes.

Now if I could find a linux program that will allow me to preview the combo boot animation to make sure it will work so I don't have to mess with phone if it doesn't, I'll be ready to rock and roll. (Tried Boot Animation Factory using WINE, but no go due to not having NETFramework 4 in the WINE folder).

Back in business.
New combo bootanimation in 1st post.

Glad to see your back in business!

NEW_ERA ... Sweet, definitely my favorite so far, nice job Andy,

Thank you :)

One question, i'm still running CyanMobile X and every time i reboot it says on the screen (CyanMobile is upgrading, starting applications) do you know why it's doing this? Nothing upgrades?
