Bootloader?

So I've done some searching but not much has been said really. Any new news with the bootloader? Is the damn thing still locked (not that it won't be hacked in like a week anyway)? Just curious. I don't mind running sense for now, but I know im eventually going to want to run CM, especially by fall/winter when Ice Cream Sandwich comes out and all the carriers are months behind Cyanogen and his crew lol. Sometime I wonder how (at least how I imagine it) some dudes in their basements tinkering away can easily beat companies with people actually getting paid to do this stuff to the updates... by sometimes half a year.

Still encrypted but with this new OTA just released. Someone said it has a new hboot version. Fingers crossed its not encrypte.

been wondering on this if it's encrypted or no toot. i'm hoping we'll soon find out.

This is what i see in my bootloader after the update.

Shooter Xc Ship S-on RL
Hboot-1.40.0000
eMMC-boot

It look like is locked but i dont know if is encrypted.
