I've got it too but I didn't notice it until I read this. Not a big deal. I don't even see it unless I look at an angle.
same with me didn't notice until I read the thread.I've got it too but I didn't notice it until I read this. Not a big deal. I don't even see it unless I look at an angle.
A'men to the speed here at Cincinnati... wow
i will be at Fields ertel this afternoon turning mine back in. Menu an dHome key only partialy light up..
Exchanged mine a lil' better but not 100%
This is with all TBs. The screen is not 100% flush with the plastic bottom. Stop returning phones over minor issues. Live with it. Its not breaking anything. FYI Mine has this issue (if it really can be called an issue) as well and so does all the ones in the store. Deal with it.
wow this is ridiculous so what are they doing, just replicating the same old phones smh..I have dim lights and a little light leakage I just am afraid to return it because it may get worse.. With your Evo did dust get in it from the light leakage?HTC really needs to get it together...I had the light leakage on the EVO, and now the same exact problem is alive and well on the TB...good goin HTC
i have leaker from an angle if you look down into the phone from around the home button and search button. and then 2 small dots at the bottom at the end of the screen and the plastic. does every phone have this?
That sound like my phonei have leaker from an angle if you look down into the phone from around the home button and search button. and then 2 small dots at the bottom at the end of the screen and the plastic. does every phone have this?
Mine is the exact same. I would never have noticed if I didn't go looking for it.

Im coming from Iphone 4 and besides me not being able to talk on AT&T network I had no problems with the build of the phone not even the antenna problem that a lot of people had, so this is a big issue for me but my son that has the Evo told me to accept it because his is light leakage also and I never noticed until now. My other son with the incredible is not so bad but it's also there. HTC she be ashamed smh.Ya just let it be, I had the same problem and regret not just dealing with it. Now I have a whole new world of problems with dust under the screen on the ones we checked at best buy (and the one I have now) plus one had a dead pixel rite in the middle of the screen. I am hoping I can get one with NO dust or dead pixels and if the light leakage is there I will accept it. However I will say only the first one I had was an issue with light leakage, the other ones had none and the one I got now has hardly any.. So it's not a problem with all of them. Sigh, I really am considering contacting htc about all of this along with verizon. It's unacceptable imo. I have had Motorola and Apple phones none of them have had ANY of these issues for me or issues at all for that matter outside of Motorola having some software issues.
This is how mine look I had to actually angle it for it to show, just like you I would not have noticed if I did not go looking for it, here is a pic of the menu home and other keys dim and also the light leakage, the way I angled it make it look worse than it is, was going to take it back but after hearing all these problems mine is light work..I mean that literally smh lol
