Hardware/software....blah! It's still a flaw!
What I'm saying is that AFAIK, most televisions do it based on what's on screen. If it goes from dark to light, then it'll change more drastically.
W/ the G2, I can be on a page w/ nothing but white background and black text, scroll down to more white background and black text and it flips out and goes bright. Then I scroll down some more...same content...dims again. It doesn't seem to matter if I go from dark to light. It changes randomly regardless of what's on screen or not. There's absolutely no rhyme or reason for it to change. Of course, it'll probably never get fixed and 9 out of 10 folks don't notice squat when using a smartphone, so this will be the only thread...along w/ the one on XDA. And I'm sure we'll get more people in here that'll blame my eyes and that their phone doesn't exhibit the issue. Well screw them! And screw LG! Damnit, I'm tired and my G2 is charging so I can't use it!
