Brightness override or app?

I love everything about my edge, except one thing, I find that with a dark wallpaper in the daylight, the brightness just isn't cutting it and its hard to see.
I know it has the ability to go brighter then the full slide bar. (bc i shined a flashlight in the sensor and it got brighter)
And i was wondering if there is anyway to override this and make it that much brighter.

That still does not get it to the brightness that putting a flashlight over the sensor gives it. Essentially I'm looking for 110% brightness

Do you have a custom settings profile for the S6 Edge? If so what are your settings? I tried to use it but I find it kind of buggy. It would intermittently shorten the lock screen time out from my standard setting of 30 sec to 2-3 sec. It happens randomly and not all the time. Also the lock screen brightness seems to be much dimmer than the home screen once logged in. Can this be adjusted? Otherwise the app actually works surprisingly well.

Have the same problem on my S6 Edge. The screen gets so much better with the flashlight trick.

The flashlight thing is not a trick! It's def a BUG! The sensor software must be messed up. I have auto brightness off and my phone dims in darker rooms, and gets bright in direct sunlight. Set your phone down on a table cover the top sensors with a cloth, watch the phone dim. it's a bug and it needs to be fixed. There are several other threads on this forum about it.
