Browser of choice?

I would have had no idea at all! Damn good find. Holy crap! How did you know that it find out about that?!?
J just Googled "kiwi browser malware" and the post came up. I didn't know about it but when Ben asked for evidence I went hunting. Took about a minute to find it.

Well, holy crap, good good find yet again! I haven’t been using kiwi browser at all, but nonetheless excellent helpful news here! Right now, I’m using Firefox focus. Pretty good for low resource usage aka battery and ram management.

When is that article from? It says Apr 16, not sure if that means 2016 or this year and it just doesn't show the /21. I tried turning on airplane mode and performing a search and it displays the web address of my search term, nothing pointing to Kiwi. They might have fixed it already, or just covered their tracks? Nonetheless, I'm not recommending it anymore, and will probably stop using it as well. Good find is right.

That's why I use Chrome for all my sensitive stuff, banking/purchases/passwords etc, because I trust it to be the most secure browser. But I do all my surfing on Brave because it blocks all the ads/cookies/fingerprinting etc. I also clean out all my unnecessary cookies and data on both browsers after every use. They're both chromium based so the settings are the same.

Don't let your browsers bog down with the unbelievable amount of cookies you can get by just visiting a couple of sites

Yeah, no absolutely i hear ya! So far, I love Firefox Focus! IT's private and secure, fast, and doesn't use as much RAM. It's also really speedy at loading webpages.

Hmm, Firefox Focus... That sounds good too! Yay for options! Haha.

Installed firefox focus and the first website I tried to login with Google and it didn't login or open the webpage after the login. Not much use if I can't login to websites so I deleted the app. Shame as it was fast.

Yeah, Firefox Focus does make it a bit annoying to login with Google... it's doable though, that's for sure. Just not as seamless as it is with Chrome of course.

Yep it's sad that as we get more technologically advanced we become less and less secure :( I've been backing off considerably on my digital footprint, I don't do any social media, pay for most things with cash, have my phone location history turned off, surf the net on Brave, and don't use my phone to pay for anything ever.. no cards ever stored in my Google account. I also don't store passwords in Chrome. And of course all my online info is fake lol. Pretty much off the grid electronically speaking...or as much as I can be ;)

I have to say my poor wife gets hammered with spam calls/texts/emails etc. I may get 2 spam texts a month..... maybe a couple calls a year, and no emails. Maybe I'm doing something right ;)

Yeah, You're telling me! My mom is very similar. It's just absurd how much spam calls, voicemails, emails, and even now text messages we get. It's just utterly ridiculous!

That's too bad that that happened, especially if it was a fast loading browser!
