Bug Tracker & Solution Finder

From some suggestion I found, I enabled the force CPU rendering to use 2D hardware in the developer options. This made all my camera apps fail somehow. I saw a flash on one that said to disable this option, once I did that, my camera apps worked just fine.

Anyone seeing this camera bug:

- When trying to launch camera, camera doesn't start, and get error message "Cannot connect to Camera". Have power cycle to get camera back.

Facebook under the Add Accounts page doesn't work and because of that you can't get contact pictures to sync.

Android market v 3.4.4 keeps force closing whenever I open it or if it gets that far, try to download something. I did some research and others are experiencing the same problem. "Unfortunately, Market has stopped"

GNEX Android Market -- Help please - Android Forums

I have tried wiping the app's data and cache through the application management menu. Neither seemed to work. The only fix that I've come across is the uninstall updates option in Settings/Applications. It then works for a brief period of time before automatically updating the market to 3.4.4 where it continues to force close.

Is anybody here experiencing this issue?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but is the notification bar supposed to work while the phone is locked? I did search the thread, found nothing though...

1. Place call using skype, call connected to VM, screen off and could never get the screen back to end the call or input digits. I had to reset the phone.
I have the same issue when placing regular calls, the screen goes off and could not turn it on to enter digits or go speaker, etc...
2. none of the ringtones are loud enough to be able to hear the phone while in my handbag or in a deep pocket

anyone else have the issue that it charges to 99%? I have to do the old HTC Droid Incredible trick and unplug then re-plug to get it to hit 100% (bump charge). might be because I am streaming music all night with the screen on in night clock mode but want to check if I'm alone.

**note** I am using Fancy Widgets with Battery Info shown giving me a %

Under - "My Apps" in the Market on Phone & Desktop it shows that I have Google Earth, but I never installed it, and I don't see it in my App Drawer, or under Settings>Apps or App Drawer... can't access it or open it..

Google Music refuses to play albums, no matter what I try. Whether I press "play" on the album or the first song, that is the only song it plays, and then it stops. I checked the settings as thoroughly as possible and saw no apparent fix. Note, this is playing stored music and not streaming. Shuffle of individual songs from my library works fine.

My "solution" was to get Power Amp from the market. It's a nice app, but I like the simplicity of the ICS Google Music interface a lot--I just want it to actually work.

1) have you tried to press the lock/unlock button? My screen locks even while talking on the phone... its so annoying.

2) Have you tried Volume + that everyone kept mentioning?

Every time I wake up, the phone is at somewhere between 95-98% it appears. I just unplug and replug until it gets to 100%. Sometimes you will miss it if you wait to long, and it will reach 100% and begin discharging again. But every time you unplug and replug, it gets to 100%. At least for me it does.

I've yet to figure out why sometimes I can't speak-to-text because the mic button is "grayed out." I've found no pattern as to why this happens or not. Sometimes it becomes active over time, but sometimes I have to leave the messaging app and re-enter for it to update.

Has anyone else seen this?

When I use the voice recognition to type a text, sometimes it gets the word wrong. For instance, it gives me the word "shore" when I meant "sure." The word "shore" will have a line under it and if I tap the word, it gives me suggestions, one of which is "sure," the word I want. Then I tap "sure" and it replaces "shore" with "sure" in the text on the screen. Then I hit send and when the text is actually sent, it has the word "shore" in it instead of "sure."

Why does it correct the word to "sure" and then revert back to "shore" when the text is actually sent?

It has happened to me twice now. The last time was right after I had exchanged batteries and was charging the new battery. The other time it had nothing at all to do with changing or charging batteries so I can't say why it does it.

Streaming music through Google Music or Audiogalaxy crackles when the screen goes dark. Someone else suggested overclocking to solve this issue, but its still quite disappointing that the stock Nexus behaves so badly.
