Bugless Beast Froyo release!

u can change the behavior of install location, but.... it shouldn't be the default if there are bugs where apps don't show up in launchers or the widgets don't. But overall, the latest bugless beast is pretty awesome, i like it

No problem. Other than the leds lights while docked, this rom is awesome. Is anyone using the leds hack with this rom? I would install this again but the older version I had was not working correctly. I thought I read that Froyo did not have the led light issue but mine does.

I also get boot loops with the p3 kernels over 1ghz but at 900 mhz, I am happy.

Thanks @ellisz! Now I can go back to BB again!!!

Do the LED lights go off when you hit the dim button in the top right hand corner of the screen? it does on my phone. (on Onix and Simply Stunning anyways)

ha, they turn off on Sapphire also. Never noticed it on the other froyo based roms until I just tried it now cause I just have Leds Hack set to turn off the leds when it's in the dock.

0.3 is very stable and fast. Had troubles with 0.2.1, but none so far with this, running stock launcher. Definitely try it out, i'm a fan.

Just set it all up. Running it with Launcher Pro at 600MHz and it's very fast/smooth.

Can someone help me out and explain what the scripts are and how I use them? Example (from Pete's thread over at Droid Forum) "-browser [-rm] [-cp]"

can you guys post the battery life your getting with the new 0.3? Is it a full day? BB is quick and smooth on my phone but the battery used to drain in half a day. Right now I'm on chaos and it lasts me a full (long day) but not as smooth or quick as BB.

This new version (and all previous versions) last me a day no problem. My definition of day is from about 9 in the morning when I unplug to about 12 at night when I plug in. I'm also using that super sweet new LWP...the super mario one...and I was still able to get my full day out of it. :)

Hey guys I got a question for ya and hoping you can shed some light on this. A friend of mine has the Moto Droid and when I call him at first I can hear him just fine but after a few minutes it sounds like he is on speaker phone and all the way on the other side of the room trying to talk even though he is actually holding the phone right next to his mouth? I have searched the web and see this is a known issue with a lot of Droid's I'm just wondering if anyone has had this issue with this ROM, my thought is maybe it's a flaw in the stock ROM that the custom ROM makers like Pete have fixed any input/feed back on this issue would be great as he is getting very frustrated with his phone.

That would be my definition of a full day as well. Unfortunately my phone didnt react to BBv0.1 as well and I made it to maybe 3-4 PM. The phone was fast and smooth, just didnt cope well. Oh well, win some lose some, I'll probably come back to try out BBv.3 sometime today.

There a link to get the current Adobe flash player for Android?

got this from a post from corydunbar

"Flash 10.1 Beta
download: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
then connect your droid to your PC
move the downloaded file to your sdcard
disconnect your droid
go to settings> applications> check the unknown sources box and then agree.
open astro file manager (found in the market)
select "sd card" (if not already open) and select the file, then select app manager then install"

it worked for me.

I also wanted to know what kernels work with .2.1 I know its kinda a moot point since pete will probably update to the new droid froyo in the next few days, but i still want to mess around with it.
