So I got the unlocked one plus 6t direct from the manufacturer instead of tmob.. My first official android device and I am pleasantly surprised... However the bullet style headphones are not comfortable by any means.

Any one else experience this or. Is it just me? Also what are you using for headphones if not the bullet?

I have the bullets wireless they are pretty good and cheap $69

I'm going to go completely wireless soon and get the Jabra elite 65t

I've got the bullets wireless and they're as comfy as any others. Are you sure they're in the correct ears? Seems silly, but apparently a lot of people wear them wrong (including Daniel Bader)!

I was thinking of getting a pair of them myself, then I noticed that for some reason they put a micro-USB port on for charging... Someone should tell Anker it's 2019.

LOL, yeah. The TicPods Free that I use also have charge via micro usb. I don't really mind tho, because basically everything else I own still uses micro USB and have a charger at arms length in just about every room I'm walk into. That said, I do prefer USB-C.

I used one of those $20 referral coupons to get the bullets for free when I ordered my 6t last month. I've never had this style of ear phone before and I'm not sure if I like them. I had been using an old pair of apple ear phones for like 5 years, but they finally died a few months ago. My only gripe with those is that they didn't stay in my ear that great when I would run. The bullets stay in great, but they block out too much of the outside noise. It is hard to explain, but besides hearing what I am listening to, the only other thing I hear is my breathing. Aslo, any time the cord moves I hear that movement in my head.
I wanted to use them for phone calls too, but I feel like I can't hear myself talk so I ended talking much louder than I should be.
Anyone else experience anything like this while using this style of ear phone? Maybe I just need to get use to them?

I'm guessing they're by Mobvoi? I'll give them a look.

I know it probably isn't a big deal to most people, but it's a compromise I'm not willing to make at this point. My phone has had USB-C since 2015. My laptop, it's pen, current headphones and even tnt Nintendo switch all charge via USB-C. Only thing I carry that's micro-USB is my torch, which only needs charging every couple of months and will be upgraded as soon as i find a good one with USB-C.

I don't believe in future proofing, but in 2019 USB-C is present proofing. There's no excuse for using micro-USB.

Yes, they're made by Mobvoi.

Agreed, each person's situation is different. If I didn't have so many devices still using micro usb, I'd certainly feel the same way.
