Hi everyone, I got a Galaxy s24 ultra and Google Assistant won't work with my headphones, with any. My friend has the same phone and same thing happens. Samsung "Customer Experts" been for literally two hours try to find a solution remotely via Smart tutor without luck.

When you connect a headphones you should see this prompt come up so then the headphones will appear under devices on Google Assistant, it's the only way for them to work, if they are added to devices via that way. But on the galaxy s24 ultra it just won't happen....

Normally it should show this (from another phone)

And then you would see this

The first message its just not happening I tried everything and so did the Samsung technician remotely.

So devices is empty and they don't work with assistant.

Add device is to add other things, it's not for this.

I wish someone could come up with a solution, I really need them to work. Its not the headphones, I tried with different ones. And they work with my older phone (that runs the same OS etc).

Thank you!

Look screen is off and I hold the button screen turns on and I get this shitty assistant lol it doesn't work like the one when you hear the bell sound, I sound stupid. If I reset all settings what settings are going be gone? I'm still restoring every app permission individually lol because I reseted them last night haha (I don't mind tho, we are trying everything)

Hahahah it wiped all my WiFi passwords and everything Hahahahah and still the assistant at the bottom of the screen shows up, but don't worry, I will restore the settings from my old phone that I have them saved on my computer from Smart Switch haha

If assistant pops up then we gotta look at Mic permissions
I reseted the Google app again (deleted data) and even Google Play Services and the damn assistant keeps appearing at the bottom. I still don't get why it changed, I will enable bixby again and see if that was preventing it from happening.

Ok let's see , I do have everything box y deleted with PDP

Okay, I enabled bixby again and the button does nothing again....weird I don't get the configure bixby window like I did with the wireless headphones, but it doesn't matter. Bixby was preventing something. Still not there yet. Is your bixby enabled?

Is it worth buying the app or I can do it for free? Lol then I need to solve that pressing the button switches the screen on and the assistant appears at the bottom haha
