Buy a AT&T or T-Mobile Nexus 7 (2013) for use on Verizon LTE?

I need a Nexus 7 LTE (2nd Gen) tablet to work on Verizon. Do I need to purchase a Verizon one or will Verizon activate a T-Mobile or AT&T one?

I dunno if they only will activate a pre-set list of ESN numbers, etc...

The tablet will work on all three networks; Verizon can activate it and provide a SIM.

Hm. Okay. I see Verizon sells it for $350 and the Google Play Store version says only AT&T / T-Mobile.

I just don't want Verizon to say no.
