Hey people. Can anybody tell me what kind of cable is coming in the box with the 2/XL? Is it an A-C cable or a C-C cable?

Also, I assume I'll have to get new cables to use my Anker PowerPort wall charger and PowerCore battery, but how well will those products even charge the Pixels? Will they charge really slowly?

Thanks.

ETA: I actually just found an awesome spreadsheet of USB-C cables and chargers that have been tested for Pixel phones by Benson Leung and a Google Top Contributor. Definitely worth checking out, as it has links, tech specs, and ratings for many, many cables and chargers:

I bought a hand full of adapters that attach to my micro USB cables. They were like $5 on Amazon.

I think anything at 2a or above is going to be plenty fast charging , that what I have in my vehicles. I'll wait to see, before I buy more.

I thought the pixels came with attached c cables(non removable from the plug)...hope that's wrong.

The original Pixel had ones removable from the plug so hopefully it will stay that way. We will find out soon enough with unboxings to come.

So I get that a charger has to be USB-C Power Delivery in order to do the super-fast charging, but does the wattage rating matter, too? Does the charger have to max out at 27W? Or is anything over a 27W rating OK?

Higher rated charger will be OK so long as they comply with the PD spec. The power rating indicates the power that a charger can supply, not the amount of current that will travel into the phone. Current isn't pushed, it is drawn.

Yup, thanks. that's been out for quite a while (a few of the links show an item not sold anymore, etc), but it's a great list. I used it to buy stuff for the first Pixel last year. Thanks.
