Does anyone know how to wipe the cache partition on a Tab7+? I looked online but none of the instructions I found worked. Since the android 13 update I've had many apps crashing and I'm hoping this will help. I'm desperately trying to avoid the dreaded factory reset. Lol

That's not working. I just tried it again. It shows the splash screen then goes black again and shows the splash screen again goes black...etc. No recovery screen shows up. Just seems to start booting then goes off then starts booting them goes off.

I had the same issue with my Husband's Tab s7 after android 13. I wanted to routinely clear cache partition, but the recovery screen never came up & the device would just boot as normal.

Finally, I powered off the Tab s7, connected it to my PC with the usb-c cord & performed the routine again.
(Since it was already powered off, I just had to press & hold the power on & the volume up button simultaneously.) That time it booted to the recovery screen.

You might want to give that a try & see if it works. (Husband's Tab s7 is wifi only model.)

:)

If the YouTube solution fails I'll definitely give this a try. Thanks!

I suspect Berrybubbles will get the prize here. This is something we in the vast, unchartd wasteland known as "Rest of World" have been doing for years.

And on anything with a SIM you probably never will, because Samsung doesn't have the stones to stand up to carriers. But unlocked, WiFi only devices are a different matter.

That worked perfectly! Plugged into my laptop and worked first time. Thank you!
