Calendar issue after update

Hi has anyone had a problem with Facebook syncing with their device calendar after the most recent update? At first I didn't notice it but after using the app and seeing friends birthdays that weren't showing up in my calendar I realized something was up. I've tried everything and can't seem to figure out what's going on. hopefully this gets corrected soon.

I had to import the birthday and event calendars into Google Calendar but in a certain way that it would update with each new friend and event.

I have the same problem but I don't think it's just that. Other apps aren't working right either.
