Caller ID

On my S7 Edge in the Advanced Features Setting there was an option to identify numbers. like caller ID. The S8 does not seem to have that option. Seem the only way to get it on this phone is to pay a monthly fee from my carrier. Kind of sucks as it was a basic option on their last device.

Yea I am missing that function also. Shame they didn't include it in the S8. I am using the trial version on Sprint and it is not good. Looking for some other options in the google play store.

Be careful with the third party apps. They upload all of your contacts. I use VZW Caller Name ID, works great.

Try True Caller....it has ads but it also does a good job of searching for those spam calls and let's you block them.

+1 on TrueCaller. It's intrusive but has great spam blocking and caller ID.

I did use true caller prior to my s7 edge but it was a resource hog. Kind of sucks they took out such a useful feature on the newer model.
