Camera Apps that improve poor cameras?...

I've seen a couple of posts that mention apps that improve poor cameras, but i just 1 off comments in posts sort of thing. Can someone elaborate on this for me? I'm about to buy the Moto X which from all the images i've seen the images come out washed out. Is there an app that would improve that? It's other problems are at times soft focus, anything for that?

Hi, although they can help you take a better picture with tools like shake control, manual focus and the like, my guess is that if your camera hardware is lacking, they can help you better by fixing the pic after the fact by applying filters and fixes.
Perfectly clear does a good job in both instances.
