Camera doesn't open in internal memory

[AC Question]

WhatsApp camera and many apps doesn't open in my Micromax canvas a1 Android marshmallow 6.01.
It asks for external memory card but I don't have two memory card slots
One slot I have used for 32gb Sony as internal memory card.
How to get this problem rectified?
Please help me.

This could mean that the app being used in the case whatsapp might be at fault and not allowing you to send images to your SD card. Try disabling the whatsapp and use the built in smart phone camera app just to test this theory.
