Guys, I recently flashed a galaxy grand 2 (G7102) with an unofficial cyanogenmod 12.1 rom. Ofcourse, its riddled with a few bugs the biggest being unable to use the second sim.
Im thinking of reflashing it with a more stable kitkat base cyanogenmod 11 rom.

Is it possible to downgrade ? I read somewhere on XDA that downgrading may brick the phone. I am not an expert at this and maybe some of the more experienced modder can comment on this

Thanks in advance

Welcome to Android Central!

What kind of phone do you have? I believe you have to flash your phone back to completely stock and then you can flash CM 11.

I have a galaxy grand 2, but the problem is solved now.
We dont need to go back to stock, we can just format the system and install CM 11 over it and it works fine :)

Hey there, glad you got it sorted out. In almost all cases, as long as you wipe and use the right gapps package you can downgrade. Thanks for being a CM user.
