Can I use my Xperia Z3 as remote for my samsung smart tv?

I've tried Smart TV Remote and it picks up my TV's signal but won't connect. Then I found that both the Samsung SmartView app 1.0 and 2.0 versions aren't compatible with my device.

Any suggestions of apps or advice would be greatly appreciated!
