Cannot see Original email

Is there a way to actually "see" the original email when replying or forwarding an email?

I can only check the box "insert original email" but not see it which makes it diffucult to remember all the points I want to touch on.

I use aol email and am wondering why it will not do it.


I realize gmail will do it but do not want to switch to it now.

When you are inside the email, there is a link titled "Show quoted text". If you click on it, you will be able to see the whole email conversation.

Sorry for the double post. I apologize but my vague response, which only works with gmail. :-[
