Cannot update PRL or PRI on Reborn ROM 2.2.4.

Hey all:

For some reason I can't update PRL or PRI in RebornROM. I tried first in 2.2.1, then updated to 2.2.4 and tried again, but both simply hang on "Checking for PRL update, please wait..." or "Network is preparing your services..." I've let it stay at that screen for half an hour in multiple locations (at first I thought it was service related) but I've had no luck.

Anyone have any advice? Do I need to revert to stock to pull a PRL update? Can I do this manually?

Thanks a TON, man. The MSL reset did it; I pulled the new PRL right away, and my signal jumped by like 3 bars. I'm a happy camper!

Would this work if I had a custom recovery? (Xionia Clockwork mod) Because I was running CM7 and I had to get my phone number swapped with my cousin. However, when the Sprint rep told me to update my profile, I couldn't because I was on CM7, so i restored my Nandroid to a stock LG ROM. However, I cant update the PRL or Update my profile and I am not getting any sort of 3g or anything. Would doing the ##786# fix this?
