I had it on my Flip 5, but it doesn't show up as an available app to add to the launcher widget on my new 7. I've done a workaround for now by adding Google Go. It just makes no sense for Google to not be available on the launcher.

How did you get the Launcher to appear on cover screen? I did it on previous Flip but not getting it this time around. I have Multistar installed and selected some apps but there is no ok or apply button and when I go to cover screen, the Launcher does not appear. I have have it enabled in Labs.

After you select your apps for the launcher in Multistar, click on the phrase "Enable Launcher Widget" at the top of that page. It's not obvious that this activates the Launcher, it just looks like a heading!

Also, you do get the Launcher as a widget page in your cover screen you may have to move it to suit how you like it. You can move all the widget pages under edit.

Hmm , I actually did find the Enable button after I first posted but then I got a widget that showed blank backgrounds and a message that said you can't add other apps or something like that. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Yeah, something is definitely wrong. The only apps I can add are the 4 default choices listed, which includes Messages, YouTube and 2 others. I can also add other widgets for the system type apps that appear like Calculator, Device Care, etc. If I select any additional in Multistar and then click enable, I go round and round but the apps I selected do not appear.

Multistar>i heart Galaxy foldable> Launcher widget> add the apps you want> click enable launcher widget THEN it brings up a list of widgets. Scroll down.

I can't remember if I chose apps or one of the launchers under multi star but if you don't do the very last step and choose the widget it doesn't add it to the cover screen. It took me a min to figure that out.

It was the launcher under multi star I chose.

I appreciate the step by step. Pretty sure I did that but uninstalled Multistar, reinstalled and followed the steps and this is what I get on the cover screen:View attachment 370804

You added the apps you want so they appear at the top like the first screenshot, clicked enable launcher widget and selected one of the multistar widgets in the second screenshot?

THANK YOU!! Saw exactly what the issue was with your last screenshots. First though, you show the names of the widgets whereas I only see the icon and the number of widgets available for that particular widget. I have to click on the little widget icon to see what it is. Seems odd. Anyway, I did not make the connection that I needed to look for the widget that looked like the pic associated with Multistar! I was selecting the Apps widget.

Appreciate you sticking with me!!

I'm glad we figured it out. The only allowed app I was going to use was messages so I removed the default app widget and just added it to the multistar so I don't have an extra page to scroll through.
