can't click on chrome browser popup window

it doesnt matter the website, but lets say i get a popup from a site to get my location. i cant click on allow or deny. the only thing i can do is click the back button.

also, if related: lets say i'm looking at ebay or craigslist, and i want to select other pictures to view. sometimes i cant. if i force close all apps, and then reopen the browser, then i can scroll pictures.
any ideas?

Do you have any screen-dimming apps installed? Those (and others that use a screen overlay) can sometimes cause problems with onscreen buttons.

no screen dimming apps. how can i tell if another app is doing a screen overlay?

For more recent versions, look in ​Settings>Apps>Advanced>Special App Access>Display Over Other Apps

Actually, I just killed the Display Over Other Apps for Lux Lite, and that did the trick. Thanks B. Diddy!
