Cant decide between the Nexus 6 or the Note 4.....

I question some combination of the time you spent with the phone, your experience with working with phones, or the actual phone itself.

The lag "issue" on the Note 4 is pretty much a myth. Some people think that it lags, most say no.

It has one of the best low light cameras available on the market. I'm getting shots with this phone that used to only be possible if I used my DSLR.

If you don't like it and really want the Nexus 6, go for it. I certainly don't have a problem with it.

But don't label the Note 4 with issues it doesn't have.

Good luck with your Nexus 6, I hope it lives up to the hype for you.

Go ahead and question it but you can't question the various threads that are already made of the various issues the Note 4 so far has. Their have been countless post made of ram issues, lag issues, camera issues etc... My Note 4 has already lagged countless of times especially on hangouts, crashed while using the android central forums app, crashed while on chrome. I've tried tinkering with the developer options but that didn't really make a significant difference, using Nova Launcher or Google Launcher didn't make a significant difference either. I agree that the camera is one of the best for low light but I cant say the same for the front facing camera. I have had the iPhone 6 plus and the front facing camera blew away the front facing camera for the Note 4. I even tried my friends iPhone 6 plus as well as another friend of mine that has an iPhone 6 and I still reached the same conclusion.

The front facing camera in low light situations on the Note 4 is not better then the iPhone 6 or 6+.

I don't know about the front camera but initial feedback is that nexus 6 is better than Note 4 in low light but *only* has 13 Megapixels. Regardless I don't expect enough of a difference in regards to rear camera for that to be a deciding factor. Stylus would sway you to note 4 larger screen towards nexus 6. Note series usually get upgrades for two years so comes down to stock android versus touchwiz.I have a Note 2 and never use the stylus so my decision is really easy :-)

How is the Note 4's camera whenusing the Google camera app? I wonder when using the same software if it will be a better comparison.

Eh I've seen that review and the camera looks pretty ok ...note 4 is much better based on that review

Fair enough.. Have you noticed how on the Note 4 the front facing camera lags a little during night shots? That is something that really bothers me...

I honestly don't care enough it would factor into which phone I'll buy

Can you provide links to backup this statement? I have the Note 4 but have also ordered the N6 and camera performance is a key determining factor for me.

The only review/preview I've seen making this assertion was a short 2 min video by Carphone Warehouse (which was not even close to a comprehensive review).

I highly suggest anyone that claims the Note 4 never lags go watch the "real review" for the phone on YouTube. Just search for "Note 4 real review" and look for the video by Flossy Carter. It's long and you may not agree with the dude's style, but there is something you have to see and it happens in the first 10 minutes.

And this should supercede our own opinions after using the phone ourselves? I will trust my own experience.

You're missing the point. There are people here vehemently defending that the Note 4 never lags and those people are wrong. They are even going so far as to call those of us who claim lag, liars. The video I'm referring to seriously proves it does in fact have issues with lag.

Dude only has several hundred reviews of phones and other devices, but sure, he uses a name many consider funny, so screw him.

Oh, and lmao, too afraid to actually see proof of that which you claim never, ever happens while you call the rest of us that say it does, liars...

I do question the various threads. There are just as many, if not more people, responding with "No lag on mine."

Ram issues? Seriously? Do you actually understand how the Android OS works? There are no ram issues with these phones. Only issues with users who don't understand how their device works.

As for the front camera, it is as irrelevant on this phone as it is on any other.

If you don't like the note, no problem. I have disliked phones in the past, too.

But it is clear from your comments that you simply don't like the phone. There is nothing actually wrong with it. You just want something different. Not a problem.

As I said before, good luck with the nexus 6. I hope it meets your expectations.

Lol I don't care about his reviews because I think it's annoying ?

It doesn't lag though ...specially not like the s2 s3 era

I'm not calling anyone a liar. I'm simply standing on my own experience, daily use of my own phone.

What someone has done once on a YouTube video doesn't really concern me.

The fact still remains, there are more people using these phones and not seeing issues with lag than there are complaining about it in forums and reviews.

Ymmv and that's just fine.
