Can't download anything on new phone

Ok, I have an A20, but I'm posting here because there's no forum for it. I can't seem to download anything from the Play Store. All I get is "waiting for download..." I just bought this phone Tuesday and all was working well the last two days. Then today I had to factory reset it, and now this. I have no idea why I can't download anything - but if I can't download any apps, the phone is no good to me.

Have you tried logging out/ re-logging into your Google Account? What about clearing cache/data from the Play Store? If you're using a restricted network or VPN that might also be a factor (or if you're not on WiFi and apps are a larger download).

The A3 forum probably doesn't get much traffic, so I moved this to the General Help forum instead.

Why did you have to factory reset it? Was it malfunctioning beforehand?

Sometimes a delay like this could be due to the Play Store app updating itself, or Google Play Services updating, or other Google Play libraries. That shouldn't take more than about 10 minutes or so -- is it still going on?
