Agreed. G5 was pretty much a flop for consumers.

I'm thinking the same way.

The G5 was a flop, perhaps because it tried too hard with being different that it kinda lost sight on the basics.

The G6 is almost a reversal of that. Focusing more on the basics and adding maybe one or two LG touches.

IMO, the G6 is easily one of the better smartphones we've seen this year so far and if LG properly markets it, will sell quite well.

Probably not that great. I haven't seen much marketing for the device. You can make a good phone, but if no one knows about it, no one will buy it. The stores are gonna push Samsung if you want android. They need to be flooding the TV and Internet with ads.

I walked into my Verizon store and they had the g6 and s8 on display. The s8 had this wonderful screen saver and the g6 was just there on the home screen. The s8 was catching people's eyes as they walked in. Price conscious people may get the lg.

Totally agreed!

I bought the G6 yesterday at Best buy. They have the S8 on display and the live screen is a whale swimming in the ocean. Looks totally amazing.
