Case for your Maxx

I've always liked the Verizon cases too and have had quite a few through the years. They always fit very well and seem to be made meticulously. A Griffin Reveal case came with my employee edition Ultra and it is very nice and fits great, but I had forgotten a case came with the phone when I ordered it and I had ordered a Speck Candy Shell Grip case from Amazon too. Got the Speck case yesterday and I love it! (Pictures posted earlier in this thread.) It adds a little more bulk than the Griffin but not too much; the phone still feels nice and slim and the texture is great! It's attractive and adds a lot to the feel of the phone. There is a good lip around the front edge that will protect the screen well if you place the phone face down too. Very, very nice case!

I picked up an Incipio DualPro case and really like it so far. It fits nice and snug and the buttons are still easy to press. It doesn't seem to add much bulk and looks nice because it covers the entire chin of the phone. I bought the white w/ gray color because I'm a girl and didn't want a black phone (or red, or blue, etc) but now I'm thinking it will probably look dirty over time. Oh well. Hubby went with the black on black one due to lack of color choices. It has a slightly rubberized feel on the outer part of the case, similar to what the Maxx feels like naked.

Qmadix case came in today!!! Perfect fit no crazy bulk and really is quite nice

I just ordered the Qmadix case, it said 1 left! Hopefully it fits as well as you say. I was in love with the HTC One UAG cases so hopefully this is an alternative and not as large as the Otterbox.

Its deff smaller than the otter box it fits very well and the buttons or much more responsive now. Was hoping for a UAG but this will have to do.

Thanks for letting us know this case is now at Amazon. It took a few days for it to get there. I put one in my cart in case I don't like the one I bought on ebay.

I have found the Trident case for Droid Maxx XT1080m. Amazon has the trident listed but not available for order. The Trident cases are also pictured on fommy.com & mycellworld.com, both list out of stock. Price is $31.95. I bought the otterbox commenter case at Verizon, but I am planning on returning it as it is too bulky & heavy.......I will wait for the Trident case to become available.

Preferably something with a metal belt catch and swivel.

That's the price for the most expensive version, the kickstand version with holster.

Base model: $30.
Kickstand model: $35.

So the basic pricing isn't too bad, considering how nice the case is.

And if you want a little more drop and bump protection, and dont mind a little more bulk, the Active Case is very nice.

The ones I linked are for the Moto X, but I imagine the MAXX cases would look pretty similar.

If anyone else is interested in these cases for the MAXX, go here and let Seidio know.

I got one of those this weekend when I purchased my XT1080M (Verizon Corporate Store). So far, I like it, but I would like a little more coverage top and bottom. The MAXX in this feels more slim (and is lighter than) my Thunderbolt with the extended battery in the equivalent case. I would like to see what Seidio or Trident comes out with .

I am looking at something like this Amazon.com : StarTech.com Micro USB Cable - A to Right Angle Micro B (UUSBHAUB3RA) : Electronics to see if it will work with the kick stand in the vertical orientation.

Staples item 132407, $24.95. Swivel clip and magnetic closure for the strap.
If you can find one in a store, the package I have opened on the back without damaging the package, so you should be able to try it out before purchase.

Without a case of any kind, the XT1080M fits perfectly. With that Verizon cover on the Maxx, it is a tight fit.

"Swivel clip and magnetic closure for the strap." Now if you could just get the magnet to mean something to the phone, which I guess is possible if you use the right sensor.

That Staples case looks decent enough, but after cracking my glass and going through the hassle of getting a new phone i decided to give the Otterbox Defender another shot. Took me a few days to get used to the bulk and im still not crazy about it, but it does provide some great protection and comes with a holster.

I started looking at Universal car docks and i initially ordered the the iOttie One Touch Universal Car Mount Holder after reading a review somewhere that someone said it fit a Note 2 with the defender case on it. Just got it in yesterday and it will not fit my Maxx with the Defender case.

So in my searching for a solution that fits, i came across the slipgrip car mounts. Slipgrip mounts for Droid Ultra/Maxx
For mounting to a windshield or dash i have narrowed it down to two of the models listed at that link. I plan on calling them today to see what the major differences are between them and then giving one of them a shot. Ill start a different thread once i get it if it turns out to be a winner.

They also sell on Ebay and on Amazon (through a link to back to their website). Not to much on reviews other than at the XDA Developers forum. The reviews were all pretty positive. Did not seen anything of recent posted, i think the last mention of them was back in 2012.

Just wondering if anyone here had heard of them or gave them a shot recently for their Ultra or Maxx?
