Cases and screen protectors?

Got the OB Commuter case. It looks great on the phone. It would have been nice to have a second screen protector in case you mess up the install of the first one. ( Like I did ).
The hard case parts are a little slippery for my liking, I will be looking for some sort of self sticking grip stuff to put the back and side. The power button and volume button make it a little easier to hold. It is not bulky at all.

I give it a 9 out of 10 rating.

Thanks for the review. Is the front lip around the screen annoying? The one for my droid X made the screen harder to use, but I guess it's good for protection.

It doesn't hinder the view of the screen at all and would provide protection if it were to fall flat.

both of my cases arrived yesterday!!
the sand case looks awesome, it feels really smooth on my hands and I cant wait to put it on the phone to see how it looks.
as for the lattice blue case, it feels great on the hands too, it looks really pretty, at least isnt as plain as a black case.
I took the picture with my S2, it doesnt look as good as in person, ha.

Was thinking about it. A couple of y'all said Seidio's surface case nicks the phone but I was wondering. If you have a full body screen protector will it prevent the nicks from happening?

Has anyone ordered / received the official ultra slim cover 2 pack sold directly from Samsung, Galaxy S, ?

Wondering if it may be comparable to the diztronic TPU case that I'm considering. Apologies if this cover has already been covered - I did do a quick search, albeit a really quick 1, and didn't see any results referencing anyone having it or any reviews.

Seriously considering this cover, especially since it's directly from Samsung, is $20 for a 2 pack and has, I think, the nice galaxy s III logo on the back.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I just ordered the Technocel Hybrigel Holster Combo from daydeal.com. It was just under $20. I couldn't find any reviews on it, so I'll have to see how it does.

There have been some reviews on the samsung ultra slim, it looks nice and fits well, but it is a very thin cover. I would say (just judging py pics/video reviews), that it is made to mainly protect the back from scratches. It does not look like it would provide impact protection or provide a lip around the screen to keep it from contacting a flat surface if you place it face down on, say, a table. It definitely would not provide the protection of a diztronic or other TPU case.

Ultra thin cases won't protect as much as TPU cases.

I'm going to have two kinds in about 2-3 weeks.

One Ultra Slim that does protect the front glass with other features.

And the second will be a combination case - you will likely want that more than the Diztronic.

However there is nothing wrong with Diztronic - good company.

I've had the Seidio Surface on my last two phones (HTC Evo, SGSII). I did not notice the pitting or any of the other problems some people have stated regarding the Seidio's. I also bought the Rugged/Convert shell that goes over the Surface for the same phones. Again. No problems.
I also feel that some of the other cases look too...video game-ish. Too colorful (even in black), trying too hard...etc.
I just ordered the Seidio for my SGSIII. Looking forward to putting it on. As highly touted as the OB is...well...my friend had issues w/his OB on his iPhone 4. He has since switched cases as well. Not Seidio, but something else.
To each their own....but I'm sticking with my Seidio.
I am lost however on what screen protector to get...I just heard about the PhantomSkinz & the SPG brands. Which is better?

My friend at sprint store gave me the perfect case for me the body glove, great color for my pebble blue and it was free

I bought two of them! I currently have a CruzerLite but I loved the look of the Dynamic Color ones so I got a black and a pink.

The Dynamic ones look pretty cool.

Don't overpay - they ship from China and anyone (me) can get them wholesale.
