Cases and screen protectors?

The cases you see that all have that hole are being produced from the same mold. They won't be any good for that price - and the price can only go down.

I have a super slim case coming out next month that is awesome. The back will be an improvement on the one that comes from the phone.

FYI ,...I have found a bunch of them on Ebay

as well as other places

and other places

and even ones for the GS2

and they all have that stupid hole over the corner

very annoying

I just bought THIS ONE...it seemed to have the fastest shipping/lowest price.

If it doesn't protect the corner the way I'd like I'll just scrap it for a full back tpu case I have here:-\

I also have a phantom skin I plan on using on the back, so that will cover the corner as well...

Must be that the corner has to be accessible to insert/remove the phone.

Awesome is a subjective term. One persons awesome is anothers "too bulky" or "not enough protection". I wanted a minimalist design so your slim cases might work for me, but I wanted something that showed off both sides of the phone

I also needed something for now.

We keep hearing about yours... Can you explain the design a bit? Price Point?

My ideal case would be a back replacement, that was a touch wider in the 4 corners so it could lip up to save the screen when placed flat down. Something like that would be exactly what im looking for.

hey guys, SPECK has their cases out, now!

i dont' know if you guys have seen these, they're GREAT looking!

I have always loved (envied? ) my iphone friends for their awesome looking Speck cases, and now we get some love, too! Had one on my Droid INcredible, good stuff.

personally i might get the fab shell... or the pixel skin... ..... or the candyshell

i can tell you from experience, though, the candy shell is a tough case, it's got a rubber inner lining and a plastic outside, so my Incredible survived some falls with that case. the glossy plastic outside will get scratched up, but it's the case, not the phone.

they're more expensive, for sure, but high quality and well designed.

Sure they do look nice and well made but at that price point, I would expect at least a holster thrown in....sheesh!! Seidio beats them here hands down!!

I don't think any B&M stores will have them for a while. A lot of online stores have/had them, but I'm guessing they ran out of their initial stock. Seen any pictures or reviews for them yet?

Pictures yes. Reviews? Not yet! I was hoping for some. I may have to order it and wait for it to come in! For now I will find a screen protector I guess.

I am interested in this one, is "NGP" a TPU material? I am not interested in silicone due to dust/dirt "sticking" and loose fit, but if this is more like TPU, it looks like a very nice case with pretty minimal "bulk" added.

They don't even have them at the otterbox website yet. Seriously doubt anyone had them. The commuter case is available. Look at Amazon, the expected date keeps moving back on all the retailers listing it.

May be a while, but even otterbox doesn't have a date listed.

I don't have any "numbers", but it looks like (from web pics) the cheap TPU cases are noticeably thicker than the incipio, that is why I would spend a few extra bucks for something like the incipio. I know the cheap TPU case I have for my old phone is considerably thicker than the incipio appears to be.

Purchased a gray Speck Candy Shell from the nice AT&T lady this past weekend, who told me she was not supposed to release these suckers until later this week.

Review....

Pro's:
-quality case, well constructed with precision cut-outs
-very durable w/corner and button protection
-doesn't attract furbies from pockets

Con's:
-not as many color options to choose from
-a bit pricey ($35)
-adds considerably more bulk than an incipio feather/hard shell
