I've tested the CaseBorne cases for the past several Galaxy phones and also purchased quite a few from Amazon on my own. They're quality cases, I highly recommend them.

I like the simple silicone cases which are kind of grippy in the hand. Thin and light as possible. I've ordered three different brands from Amazon to check out.

S23 Ultra arriving soon. Will be going with UAG Plyo clear and pathfinder with whitestone dome tempered glass. This way I'm getting g exactly what I want. Instead of less expensive cases that weren't working for me. A little more up-front saving on the back end. Photos coming when everything arrives.

Seeing more and more "MagSafe" style cases popping up for the S23 devices. Anyone ever use anything like these, outside of iPhone? How well do they work on Samsung/Android devices? I might have to consider one.

I used their cases as well. Great cases even worth paying for them!!!

I really enjoy the magsafe stuff. I came from apple and the nice thing is I can throw on a popsocket base that's magsafe and put it onto my popsocket holder in the car. It's great for traveling. Also when I don't want it I just take it off

Speaking of Magsafe, here is a case from UAG that supposedly uses kevlar and has a 25 (!) ft drop test. It's supposed to be Magsafe compatible. It looks good and certainly seems tough but I believe the price tag on this is $99 which I think is a bit much over the top. Does Kevlar cost that much? Also, why are the first two camera holes attached to make one hole? lol 20230207_135823.jpg20230207_135900.jpg

i bought the wrong ringke case - got the fusion clear instead of the Air clear.

i emailed them, they don't pay for return shipping, and they don't do ANY exchanges, despite this being a totally UNused case, orginal in pack, bought directly from Ringke's own site.

if i have to pay for return shipping, the return shipping is about 2/3rds of the price of the case already!

i won't buy from them anymore in the future, just buy from Amazon. they had a coupon so i used the coupon. they weren't even nice about it in their email.

Kevlar is a brand name,so if it uses actual brand name Kevlar it will be expensive. I believe aramid fibre is the generic version.

anyone found a really great minimalist clear case please?

i need such a case in order to stick a Popsocket to the back. Popsockets don't adhere to the glass backs.

thanks.

May I recommend the PopSockets slide stretch grip? it's spring loaded and works by gripping the side of the case rather than adhesives.

@fuzzylumpkin: VERY much appreciated!
quick question please: do the grips' prongs stick up much on the screen side please?

do the prongs of the grip make it less convenient when using the screen?

thank you.

after my hand surgery, a Popsocket is literally a must to help me hold on to the phone securely.

Same! I am still undecided which case but have it narrowed down. I wish the commuter had a cute colored case with designs to match the Lavender.

I'm with you on this! The closest they have is the clear one with "sparkles".

My wife has this on her iPhone, and so does my brother on his. Seems like the grip is designed for iPhone though. I may have to swipe my wife's iPhone to see how it fits on my N20U to get an idea.

It doesn't interfere with my use at all, with the caveat that my hands are healthy. The sides of the grip don't stick up past the edge of the case at all really. Which S23 model are you getting? I'v got an Ultra with a official slim clear case (which is pretty much as thin as they come)coming on the 17th , so I'll be able to confirm how well it fits and whether you'll need the flat or round (I expect the flat, but you never know).

the alternative is a magsafe case as people have been talking about above and a magsafe PopSocket, which I am actually considering just because I like gadgets.

@fuzzylumpkin: thanks for your comments. i'm confused -- what do you mean by "flat or round"?

are there popgrips that are flat and other models are round???

can you send a link please because all i can find is one single type of popgrips in various colors!

also, which official slim clear case did you buy please?

i was hoping that using this popgrip, i don't need to use a case at all! i prefer no cases, actually, but i'll grudgingly use a clear minimalist case.

thank you so much!
