Cases, cases and more cases!!

There are two shapes/types of stretch PopGrips. May I ask which is better for the S23 Ultra'a shape please? Thank you.

I was testing my wife's stretch grip from her iPhone 13, with my S23U cases and it works, but it's slightly bowed, and it might be because hers is the straight edge version. I'm thinking the curved one might be better for our devices/cases.

I'll tell you when I get the phone. My hunch is the flat, but I haven't even seen an S23U in the real world yet.

Anyone looking at case mate for cases go thru ratuken search case mate. You get a 7% rebate and there's a 40% off coupon you can click on.

Exactly what I did. Good tip!

I keep getting ads for them did last year also but never had one I think it was like $72 when I saw one earlier. I liked the looks of it but don't know how good they are. I've been wanting to try velvet caviar but never had one and all used to my I Blason hah it in my s10 plus 21 and 22 so I got the same brand again.

Velvet Caviar cases are incredibly stiff. I managed to get them to work okay with iPhone but not with my Samsung phone. I wrote to customer service about that and the customer service rep was unfailingly polite and professional to me, but one of their higher ups was unnecessarily obstructionist and it snowballed into one of the most humiliating and insulting customer service experiences of my life.

I do still order from them because I like their iphone cases for the cute designs and their ring grips work well so far. They also make good MacBook cases. But I am not sure how enjoyable it would be to wrestle a phone with curved display into and out of their cases. Even for iphones, the material is very stiff and squeaky and does yellow over time.

This time I will just get clear cases from Ringke or Spigen or Torras and craft supplies and make my own pretty cases. It's amazing what you can do with some good quality stickers! I did that with my iPhone SE and loved the results.

Trying VC for first time thanks to a 35% off code I found scrolling down their FB page. Reordered several Burga cases that I have for my N20U and can keep using the matching Airpod Pro cases. Also found a good discount code for Burga by doing a deep dive Google search. Hopefully the VC case gets here early next week when the phone shows up!

Yesterday my husband got his carrier TMob phone, Whitestone Dome glass kit and new case all at one time... I should be so lucky??????

My case came today. It has a built in screen protector but if course I take it out and use Zagg. I just called the kiosk and they don't have them in yet. Best buy didn't neither when I was in there the other day.

I thought about this case as I used to love CaseMate but wasn't sure how it would love on the Cream S23U. Ended up reordering some Burga cases I already had for the N20U I'm trading in and also a Velvet Caviar White Croc which looks great in photos for a classy mono chromatic look.

Have you had Velvet Caviar before? I wanted to try them last year and didn't and I just asked them the other day about their cases and was told they weren't out yet so I went with I-Blason but now I kind of want to try one of their glitter cases I see several out now.

Edit: I just saw someone else's respone to Velvet Caviar I may pass. Hopefully I'll like what I got today.

It should. I've had them before. The problem is you then have issues with wireless charging.

I don't really do wireless charging even though I have a few around the house but I always by the pop sockets where you take the top off. Mainly so I can swap tops not so much as it also lets you wireless charge when you take it off.

why so little love in this cases thread for minimalist clear cases, i wonder?

Because most offer a little to no protection, a cheap in price and turn yellow in a matter of months with that said, I brought one from Amazon for five bucks came in a pack of 2. I’ll probably use that case around the house.

Thanks for the input. I think if I get a 2nd case I'll try casemate maybe with the 40% off and 7% from Rakuten. But I don't usually change cases and can't spend to much money the phone was enough and I still need a Zagg.

This will be my first VC case but I'm sure it will be fine. Hard to beat the 35% off code I found scrolling down the posts on the VC Facebook page.

Yeah my I-Blason I got a 25% discount and 4% Ratuken. I do like VC glitter cases though. Let me know how you like it.

I hope all your purchases work out well for you. Please report back on how it goes with the Velvet Caviar cases on a Samsung phone.

What happened was I simply could not get my phone into the VC case. The case seemed too tight and I felt like my phone was flexing dangerously. I felt if I were to apply the pressure necessary to get it in, I could damage the phone.

In the end, I was offered a refund but I did decline it. I was seething and didn't want to exchange one more word with them, not even to answer correspondence to finalize a refund. It wasn't the CSR I had an issue with. They have excellent employees at the customer facing level. And let's leave it on this positive note.

I am starting to learn my way around Etsy and their offerings and there is a tremendous amount of creativity on Etsy as well as quality and so far, good customer service. I've found MacBook case vendors on Etsy who will get more business from me in the coming years.

Have a look at the Spigen Ultra Hybrid Crystal Clear...

As well protected as most.
