Cases for the S6 active

I refuse to get anything in-store as the prices are most likely through the roof. I did order a supcase unicorn beetle premium hybrid and it will be here tomorrow.
I am used to a phone with a case on it that 'sticks' in place when you set it down. We'll see how it is when I get it.

They had it in the AT&T store, Invisible Shield for: Samsung Galaxy S6 active. My 1st time using Invisible shield instead of Body Guardz

Do you have an opinion on one over the other? I like the look of the Body-guardz better as the glass surrounds the buttons at the bottom.

Can you post pic's once you get the case on?

Blue Camo with Naked Tough

Blue Camo with the Case-Mate Naked Tough clear case (and Body Gardz screen protector)

Only cost me $22.49 online from AT&T with the current 25% accessory discount, with In-Store Pickup available.

Just got it an hour ago. It probably looks better on the White Camo. The clear plastic hard shell easily smudges with fingerprints and I'm suspicious whether it will feel too slippery in my hand. I've never gone naked with a phone and usually prefer soft rubber cases with better grip.

Just picked up a Incipio from AT&T and so far I really like it. Not to big but big enough to feel very solid. Kind of a rubbery outer that seems to provide great traction (sat on my dash on the way home and never slid) I will post some pics and further detail tomorrow.

I used Body-guardz on my Nexus 6, the Invisible shield seems thinner and does not surround the buttons. It does the job and went on easier.

I agree and didn't even notice it until you mentioned it. Any opinions on these 2 screen protectors?

I always go glass... It can take the majority of a drop damage and shatter, and your screen will be perfect still.

What Incipio did you get? I'm a big fan of theirs.

I have been very happy with Body Guardz and I never have had an issue putting one of the screen protectors on. I Love their support and when it did not fit right they sent me a screen protector to replace it on my Nexus 6 for free. I had a Body Guardz in my hand when I was checking out and I asked the sales clerk, which he preferred and he said they were both very good but he like the Invisible Shield better. It is thinner and offers the same protection.

I do not think you can go wrong with either one... I would pick up Body Gaurdz if I was doing it again because it covers the whole screen, but I am not unhappy at all with the Invisible shield. I will say this....Invisible Shield is easy and almost mistake proof when applying with the big tabs at the top and bottom for you to hold as you line up the glass.

I've never had a tempered glass protector on. I only had one of those films. I had a spigen film on my GS2 that held up great for 4 years. How do these glass protectors remove if they are damaged or you just want a different one? Are they very difficult to remove and do they leave any type of residue on the screen?

I have the same case, it's called a dual Pro Highwire. Not sure how it's going to work with my Nokia wireless charger, I'm going to try it tonight and see how it charges through the case.

Just FYI, wireless charging works just fine with the Incipio Dual Pro case and a Nokia DT-900 wireless charger. Don't know how long it took to go from 24% - 100%, put it on the charger at 12:50 am and it was sitting at 100% at 7:00 am.

I ordered one with a belt clip off of Amazon. But it is the full cover sort & thinking it is going to be entirely too bulky. Only $10 though until I can find something else.

On the holster idea. Years ago(before smartphones) I had to buy the cell phones for a co I worked at for the staff.(The co paid the tab, I just had to go get them, work the plans etc.) They wanted the holster deal, but noticed with those, the phones were dropped & consequently did not last long. You had to grab the phone with a finger on each side & when working, they would at times slip out of hand pulling it out of the case. Should not be a huge issue for the Active, due to how it is made & the grip on the sides. But just throwing it out there as we all know Murphys Law.

Supcase beetle premium hybrid. Black with frosted back.
The case doesn't have a rubber feel. It is more of a harder plastic feeling. The sides, where the buttons are, especially the volume side, is not that tight fitting up against the phone. If the phone case would be made a little tighter this would be great.

I'm also ordering a bodyguardz pure and a Cimo clear case just for the hell of it.

I'm in the camp that feels this phone does not need a case. However, I might pick up a "belt clip" holster for those times I do not want to use a pocket. Has anyone found one of these that the Active fits well?
