Cases for the S7 edge

I got a small dent in the side of my Spigen Tough Armor case sometime over the weekend. Remember, the purpose of a case is to protect the phone and that is exactly what it did. The phone is spotless.

I have the Tough Armor case and like the fit and feel but can't stand not having raised buttons on a case. Switched to the Neo Hybrid and really like it.

is the plastic on the neo hybrid slippery? I had the neo hybrid crystal and found it to be slippery and not grippy enough.

I had the Neo Hybrid on my phone a day and prompt removed it due to it being slippery. In my opinion it's more slippery then the glass on the phone.

Yes, I use that same case for work. My phone has fallen a couple of times now and it's fine.
The back of the case has many scratches and a few dings.

I have five cases but my daily use is the Neo Hybrid Crystal in Gun Metal. One of the reasons I love this case is the clear back gives good grip and stills shows off the phone. I got it with Gun Metal, perfect for my silver S7E.

I don't think it's slippery.

All depends on the end user. If I hold my hand out and rest my phone in my palm and shake my hand side to side the thing feels like it's going to go flying. The tough armour and the Otterbox Symmetry stay nice and firm in my palm.

With my case I can rest it on 3 fingers and tilt my hand to between 70 and 80 degrees before it starts to slip. That is enough for me.

s7 edge is better without case, the thinness of the phone will be non sense if you put some case on. otherwise, find something really thin or a skin like those in dbrand. you don't need thick metallic cases, anyway you wont gonna throw it in like a man high or a 3 storey to burj khalifa high or go for a dive in bermuda triangle, would yah?. A simple drop from your pocket won't gonna hurt your s7 edge plus you can use your device underwater (at least where you can swim). Again, just a styllish skin for your device will do. *just saying* case will always going to protect your s7 edge in just some ways. the only can protect it is YOU. LOL

Just got this in the mail last night. I am in love.....

Bought it off eBay and all signs point to it being an official leather Samsung case. Very minimal and feels very nice in hand.

What?!!

My UAG case is super thin.and you don't accidently hit the buttons on the sides.
It also keeps yer hands off the sides of the screen

Yes it has the leather smell. From what I am hearing Samsung is not going to offer these cases to the US. Not sure why but there is someone on eBay selling them and that might be the only way to get them. Case is very nice and extremely well built. Also has a nice supple feel to it.

It's funny you ask about the screen protector.... This is my 2nd S7 Edge. The first one (Silver) I dropped when I was bumped into from behind while taking pictures (by my wife:(). So I blame her.. It left a nice little nick on the screen with about a 2mm scratch due to the fact that it hit a window sill on the fall. That phone didn't have a protector on it. I ended up just buying another phone, this time a black one and sold the Silver cause I couldn't deal with the imperfection on the screen.

I have screen protectors coming today for it and they will go on the new one immediately once I walk in the door from work. Not sure if a screen protector would have saved me on the Silver one but I don't want to take the chance.. The first one still worked and other than the nick was flawless but I just couldn't deal with it being there lol. I know, I know..... Obsess much???? LOL

Anyone see this yet? Kind of pricy but looks great in my opinion. Probably easy to install too. I think I'm going to pull the trigger and get one
