Waiting for the gray feather case to come in the mail. Went to four different corporate Verizon stores, none of which had any cases out for the G2. When asked, one told me he didn't think they had gotten any in. The others said the cases were in the back (just the high gloss and window case).

Wow, that's just great, they really need to get their s#!t together!

Come on otterbox, I've literally received three different answers from them about G2 cases and this makes four. What the hell is going on over there? Rogue employees, lack of communication, or just not giving a damn? I've gotten more consistent and coherent responses from cheap knock off manufacturers.

Sorry you had to make that trip. I live in N.Y. and it may be they were one of the first to get it, not sure. Since it's newly released, I guess it looks like it's hit & miss for a store near you. Best bet for everyone is to call their local store.

Yeah none of the stores here in St. Louis seem to have the Feather cases either. I bought the smart window case when I bought the phone and then I went to a different store later to see if they had any other cases and they just had the smart window case and the Verizon black gel case, so I went ahead and got the black gel case for it, but I went back to the smart window case. Why does Verizon make their gel cases so ridiculously thick? They did the same thing with the Galaxy Nexus gel case, I thought maybe they would have learned.

In all honesty, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't. I have the Zagg shield on the back of the phone and it works with the smart window case and the Verizon gel case. Honestly if any case still allows your phone to get a signal, I wouldn't see why the wireless charging wouldn't work.

Yes it works, tried it with Nokia 900 wireless charger and Samsung's version

Not sure what is going on with them.I get the same thing.I found the Defender listed on some whole sale sites with a eta of 10-28-13.Not seen a Verizon Commuter yet.I sent them the part number and upc code for the black Defender I got off of one of the sites but they would not give me a eta.I knew if I did not send them the part number and upc they would pretend like they did not even know of they were making one or not.

I'm getting mine tomorrow, however, I think either on AC or XDA, someone posted the feather case (gray) on the phone itself for the verizon G2.

And nearly every durable built phone has **** screens and crappy specs. No thanks.

Ok, Ok, we will make an exception for those with in industrial or other dangerous jobs, but that said there maybe is a more durable phone to begin with for that purpose? Personally, I'd rather take the chance of having to replace the phone than to entomb it with one of those bricks.

The incipio case fits well and the nokia wireless charger works perfectly with the case.

I should also note that the TYLT wireless charger also works perfectly through the Incipio case. I notice the back is warm when I take it off the charger in the morning, but I'm not sure if that's a characteristic of wireless chargers in general.

Yeah, unfortunately I have seen all of those already and I have pretty much all I want from there except I'm still on the fence about the shell/holster combo. I really wish they would come out with a home dock that had wireless charging. To me that would be like the best accessory they could possibly make for this phone (I already have the actual wireless charger). It would have been cool if the car dock could do that as well, but as long as I'm not constantly plugging into the phone I can accept the way the car dock is right now.

Sounds like Diztronic is making a case for the Verizon G2. I sent them a message this morning asking if they were going to make a case for the Verizon version and below is their response.

That is a great question. We actually are making a case specifically for the Verizon version and we hope to have them in roughly 10 days. Pre-orders will start tomorrow.

My blue one just got here. The case fits very well, I personally think it makes it easier to use the back buttons. I do like the blue, but I might be ordering the black one also. We'll see.
