Cases for the Verizon G2

I got the incipio feather gray case today. It's a ton better than the silicone verizon case i got on launch date. Much thinner and not glossy at all. Happy with this purchase

Does that case cover the top and bottom on the phone and what type of material is it?

no it leaves the top and bottom exposed, it just covers the back of the phone, and then it snaps into place at each of the 4 corners. dont know the material but it is lightweight and has a matte finish

Glad to know the Incipio cases fit well. I'm waiting for the Feather Shine. I know it's not "real" aluminium, but I just like the look. Getting real tired of this VZW jelly case. I mean, it adds plenty of protection, but it also adds so much bulk to the phone.

Yeah, unfortunately I have seen all of those already and I have pretty much all I want from there except I'm still on the fence about the shell/holster combo. I really wish they would come out with a home dock that had wireless charging. To me that would be like the best accessory they could possibly make for this phone (I already have the actual wireless charger). It would have been cool if the car dock could do that as well, but as long as I'm not constantly plugging into the phone I can accept the way the car dock is right now.

They do sell a dock with wireless charging. Search online for a tylt vu or check out the verizon link

I've been using the incipio feather case for a day now and I've come across a really annoying issue. The bottom of the case protrudes a little bit on the bottom. This is really uncomfortable for when I hold it in one hand, as I tend to put my pinky underneath the phone to stabilize it. I'll have to train myself to hold the phone differently from now on I guess.

Noticed this, too. Having to force my pinky to the side of the phone rather than on the bottom.

Oddly, while surfing Amazon, I did a quick search and found the Feather Shine for the Verizon variant available there from Incipio, though it still does not show as available on Incipio's own website. Will be interesting to see if it actually arrives anytime in the next week.

Received my Feather Shine- black - from Incipio today. They have them. I just ordered a regular feather for the wife's G2 to see which one we like better. I love the Shine. Very nice. I asked Incipio via Twitter about their DualPro case for the Verizon G2. They responded that it will be available in 1-2 weeks. Cant wait for this case, as it was my favorite on my S3.

Check out the editing done on the rear buttons. I sure wish LG would have made the Verizon version more like this photoshopped image. They are raised a bit, with big + and - cut outs. At first I was thinking another version must be coming out, but sadly it is just photoshopped. Will be getting both of these cases, nice change from the silicon Verizon model case:

Initially, I liked the feather more, as the SHINE looked like it would be prone to scratches over time, but the grip on the feather was just not what I was looking for. The matte finish was still a little bit too slippery for me, so I am keeping the SHINE instead. I too was waiting for the DualPro to come back in stock from Incipio, and it looks like they have them here: ShopBLT.com: Incipio Dualpro White / Gray Case For Lg G2 Verizon for a bit cheaper as well. Never ordered from them before, but they have some in stock, and supposedly already shipped today. We'll see how this turns out.

Thanks for the link, I have been looking for the Dualpro with no luck. I ordered the white/gray, but they also have the other 3 color combos in stock as well (black/pink/green). Looking around the internet, that seems to be a fairly trusted site. I also verified the part number on the website with the part number directly from Incipio's website, and it matches.The price of $18.17 is pretty good too. I will report back once I get it.
