Hi, I'm not rooted and foxfi hasn't updated yet to work on the LG G2. My question is are you saying that if I root I can then do the hotspot without paying the 30 monthly Verizon fee?

Is there such a thing as a stick-on covering to put on the back of the phone so that it's not slippery? I just got my phone last night, and I've almost dropped it several times already. I would prefer not to put a case on it and make it thicker, just a non-slip film or sticker on the back/sides would be sufficient.

Hey guys, I'm actually new here and I will be getting my G2 tomorrow. I was looking for wallet style leather case for my Verizon G2 but haven't had any luck finding it. I did find out Evecases will have Verizon G2 case soon though. Meanwhile, I was hoping if somebody can recommend me one.

I should have my poetic on Fri. Don't like cases but it seemed slim enough and the reviews look pretty good

You know if you like a holster option the Verizon oem is a great option. You can pick them up on ebay for under 20.00. The case is slim and it's a little raised to protect the screen. I didn't think I'd like it but I do.
Another interesting option for those of us who like holsters. If you want to go naked (without a case or shell) if you buy the platinum holster for the galaxy S3 the g2 sits in it perfectly naked.

Senrekiv - Here's some pics of the Trident Aegis case. Sorry I didn't post them sooner...








I do have to say while I am a big fan of Trident cases, especially the Aegis line, I have since switched over to the Incipio Dual Pro. When I ordered the Trident, I also got the Tudia because it was only $3 at the time. In trying the Tudia for a bit, I really got used to the slimness and realized I wanted something not as bomber. So the Dual Pro ended up being the best compromise between protection and slimness. I do miss the covered ports though!

At least yours has departed San Francisco. Mine is still just sitting there in SF - since Nov 11th, according to USPS. Poetic says that are "reshipping" but hasn't yet provided shipment details.
