Changes to Sprint Premier Program

Yea but now realize this, discounts can make the whole difference. And how much is your family talking compared to your coworkers? Sprint lets you talk to any cell phone for free on that plan and Verizons does not.

I agree with this. It has to do with your single/family plan and what you use and need and what you don't. I am one of those that saves over $100 a month being on sprint even with the $10 a month added to the lines that didn't already have it. It is because I need and want certain things on some lines that on Verizon would cost me an arm and a leg.

I have a 10% AAA and he has a 25% corp. Both only apply to our base account and not to add-ons. With that in mind our monthly costs are still very close. Not the hundreds others have stated.

You make a point about voice minutes, but not very valid one in my opinion. My family barely touches our minutes since we call cell phones mostly. +1 for Sprint right? My friend said he has the fav 10. With that he says his family is barely using their minutes... I guess using voice minutes as a differentiator is not necessarily useful in our cases. In the case given I would call this an apples to apples comparison. I suppose if you tend to call a bunch of numbers this can be an issue.

Which is true in my case. If i were on Verizon, with the ten numbers, i would still need more minutes to equal out.

I don't think anyone has stated hundreds. I have stated ONE hundred. There is a difference. And apples to apples is if you are only comparing equal plans and add ons. Not what someone actually uses or needs. When you start doing that it becomes apples to oranges because you start taking things out and adding in different things. The main thing is to do what works for YOU.

They absolutely have 1 year contracts. Please do your research beforeposting.

They absolutely did NOT have them two months ago when I stopped working for them. As I lost potential activations over this little tidbit all the time, I'd consider it a subject I'm pretty well read on.

Edited to add that I am referring to consumer lines here. Business accounts do have 1 year contracts.

I am going to be out of town on the EVO 3D launch and was told twice by supervisors that my best option was to order as a Premier customer on the 21st. Even though I am a business account, my small family business has always been a part of Sprint Premier and had the "show me my rewards" link. I noticed that link was now gone so I called again to PREMIER CARE then was told by a rep and her supervisor my status was not showing up correctly that they would submit a trouble ticket and it would be fixed in 24-48 hours. Link was still gone that I've always had and that I now needed to order my EVO 3D early so I call back and told the same thing that its an error then this supervisor tells me that business accounts are no longer included in Premier... has anyone else experienced this or had any luck in restoring the status like consumers have?

Wow, what a disappointment. I have been on Sprint for 7 years and just found out that the Evo 3D I preordered is not going to be discounted like I expected. The yearly upgrades were the main reason I stayed with Sprint. It's not hard to get the other carriers down to basically the same monthly. Google Voice + Fav 10 = basically unlimited minutes so there is no reason for me to continue to suffer horrible 4G service when I can get VZ LTE for about $10 more per month than I am paying now. I was really looking forward to the Evo 3D :(
