The Sprint Premier is a joke as it stands right now ... Basically everyone is a premier customer in one form or another .. It's only jacked up to people like you who have only been with the company for a minute ... It's called loyalty ... and those who stick with all the Good and Bad of a company should get the best perks .. I agree that a greenhorn should not have the same perks as a 10+ year soldier .. Why reward you when your going to be history tomorrow anyway ... Build loyalty with a company and see how you feel when they offer the same deal to a new customer as they do you.
( NOT raggin on you Cubfan .. Just trying to prove a point ) THIS proves my point entirely .. Apparently Cubfan jumped ship from a carrier to Sprint and As soon as there is an issue he is ready to jump ship to Verizon .. 3 different carriers within a year ... Why should this be rewarded?
I'm part of the Elite ones that have been with sprint as long as they have been a cellular company and I mostly stay cuz I know how to handle them to get What I need .. All companies have their problems why change to learn new ones.
You sir, are what we call a weak consumer in the business world. Part of the love for Android is the CHOICE, yet on an Android forum we admonish people making a choice to leave Sprint, who have to fight nail and tooth for every customer they earn and keep, for taking away a perk that most people signed up for. I have better T-Mobile service in my apartment, but this perk and better contracts with my employee discount led me here. I probably would've had a G2 right now had I known this change would've went into effect. Oh well, I'm a broke college kid with an EVO for a little longer than expected I guess. Maybe I'll test the Craigslist market because I was looking forward to getting a phone with a keyboard this summer.
